As you all probably know at this stage we have had a power failure external to the clubhouse recently that resulted in a temporary downgrading of our supply by the ESB until they complete upgrade works. They have surveyed the requirements and we are awaiting the works to be scheduled by them in the next few weeks. When this happens we will be taking the opportunity to carry out upgrade works internally which may result in a loss of power for a number of days. More about this when we know exactly when.

In the meantime we have reduced floodlight capacity which requires some short term pain for all. The sections presidents have agreed the following Rota of light use for the next few weeks and I would ask all to abide by this and I assure you we are working to restore an improved service as soon as possible.

On Tuesdays, Rugby and Hockey will share lights - Rugby lights will be turned off at 830 to allow hockey lights to go on at 830. 

Tennis have lights Mon, Tues, Friday. 

Rugby have lights Tues (until 830), Wed, Thurs. 

Hockey have lights Mon, Tues (from 830), Wed, Thurs, Fri.
