Hi everyone I hope you are all keeping safe and well while we wait for what activities we can re-open soon. The lock downs have had a severe financial impact on the club and the people that support us through renting our facilities and all the time we have to try and maintain the facilities and pay for services.

Last month I updated you on different developments that will be undertaken soon mostly funded by the sports capital grant but we also have regular expenses that we need your support to fund. For example we recently had to service and upgrade heating and hot water gas boilers to meet current safety standards which incurred unanticipated expenses close to €5K. Like everyone else our insurance premium increased by approximately €3k this year. Things like this in addition to the loss of rental income puts the club in a challenging financial position
