Hi memebers, just a short update on some significant club development news.

You may have seen this week the club was formally granted planning permission for a new club sports hall. Earlier this year we circulated a survey in the local community and among club members which formed the basis for a feasibility study of the need for this development. This study will also form the basis for future applications for government funding schemes to help fund this development when schemes open for applications. A number of possibilities are available and the appropriate 2024 funding rounds are expected to be announced in the near future. We will keep you up to date as these possibilities progress.

 

So what's next? The club will be required to provide a percentage of funding for grant aided development and also to equip any facility built. At the moment we have two fundraising initiatives you can support.The first is Tribfest, being held at your club on August 2,3,& 4 this year. See https://www.tribfest.ie/ for the full line up. There are many ways to support this, through volunteering,  by liking and sharing social media posts , and urging your friends and families to buy tickets . You can also just come and enjoy the fun too. 

 

Secondly, in September we will be launching an online draw for a brand new KIA Sportage,  2025 version, a draw being very generously supported by Ray Crofton Motors. More details about this will follow soon. Tickets will be sold online following the formal launch in early September.
